Stitching
The Stitching Department is one of the core production units at Alpha Knitting (Pvt) Ltd. In this department, various parts and panels received from the cutting section are assembled and stitched into finished garments. The sewing department follows a straight-line, chain-based system, where each operator performs a specific operation to ensure efficiency and consistency.
The primary objectives of the sewing department are to produce garments according to customer specifications, reduce rejections, minimise waste, and control production costs.
Our stitching unit comprises 300 machines, including lockstitch, overlock, flatlock, blind stitch, gathering, and lace work machines. Alpha Knitting has the capacity to produce up to 250,000 garments per month. A team of well-trained technicians and mechanics ensures continuous, uninterrupted production with minimal downtime.
